The boys are back! Though the podcast release schedule didn’t change, the live Twitch stream is back with Doug and Justin talking about Doug’s recent vacation...and of course his farts. After they explore the finer points of both these thrilling topics the real conversation starts when Justin plays a famous sound bite from the classic video game Mortal Kombat.
For all of the Mortal Kombat movie enthusiasts who have yet to see the film, this is the point when you likely want to tune out as the boys spare no spoilers. The guys talk about the new main character’s very suburban name, how Kano stole the film, the characters gaining their powers, how bad Sub-Zero is at his job, and why the town of Gary, IN was so directly featured.
The most surprising part of this whole episode is that, in a discussion of a clearly bad movie, Justin is the one raining all over the parade while Doug is offering excuses and arguments as to why it’s not that bad. So while Doug may hate stuff, he doesn’t hate all stuff and he doesn’t hate the new Mortal Kombat movie.
After a thrilling segue from Vacation Doug™ of all people, this week’s Throw-Down crashes in for a landing. This week, Johnny 5 from the Short Circuit Cinematic Universe vs Wall-E from some dumb movie, according to Vacation Doug™ (he’s back to hating stuff). Which bot will come out on top? You’ll have to tune in to find out, won’t you?
