This week the podcast was honored to welcome back the prolific Mr. Tex of Tex Talks Battletech and The Black Pants Legion Podcast (“The #1 BPL Podcast. Fuck you Berkley Public Library”). The podcast starts off with a bang as Tex talks about his recent happenings including buying a machine gun. This of course naturally leads to a proposal for a petting zoo/flamethrower range to facilitate Tex’s next purchase.
Once those plans get fleshed out the fellas ask Tex about the BPL Podcast, they talk about some of Tex’s pearls of wisdom regarding creativity vs fame, and the BPL mayoral elections along with the recorded debates which are, from Tex’s description, a mixture of madness and hilarity, unlike most anything you’ve heard. Doug then gives Tex a mission which is to guide Justin toward his first real Tabletop RPG. And, of course, eventually the Skeweton King comes back to pay a visit.
This all culminates in this week’s throw-down which pits King Shark vs Groot. After hearing a rough description of King Shark Tex is ready to make a quick and sweeping judgment. How does he rule? You’ll have to listen in to find out now won’t you?
